People who had powers were called casters, and when a female caster reach the age of 16, they would be claimed by either the dark or the light, depending on their true nature. Lena is a caster with a curse haunting her ever since birth, in which her loved one would perish and she would be claimed by the dark. This curse has been running throughout the family line. Lena, together with her family members and her beloved, Ethan, are trying all means to break the curse before her 16th birthday, while her mother and cousin, who were claimed by the dark, tries to stop her.

Honestly, I did not really expect much out of this show, but thought there would at least be one fighting scene at the end. Throughout the show there seems to be enough suspense into making the viewers anticipate for something a little more then the plain story line. But that scene never came about.
The movie seemed to just be telling the story and nothing more, though I must say that the actress really played a good part in expressing the sadness within the character. There was nothing that really left an impression.
Really thought that having a fighting scene between Lena and her mother at the last part would really make the whole movie much nicer. And since Lena's mother was suppose to be the strongest caster among the dark, I was expecting that she would put up a fight with Lena before Lena kills her.
One thing that really irritated me throughout the whole movie was their accent. Because of their strong accent I found it hard to understand a thing they said, and sadly, there were no English subtitles.
What I actually liked was that they did put in some funny scenes, to break up the whole dark atmosphere. I really liked what they did with Lena's make up to show how close she is to the dark side, otherwise there would be quite a bit of confusion.
