Though i think that this manga is nice, I also find that it has many confusions and almost too many unexpected turns.

This manga really likes to talk about the past and the present at the same time. It also has many "virtual" world (or things that happen in the Abyss) that i do not really understand.
When it's time to reveal something, they like to throw chunks of information at the reader, which makes things very confusing. Also, because of the time lagg in Abyss, i was really confused of the character's age and everything that happened before they were thrown into Abyss.
In this manga, there were to many unexpected turn of events that made the whole manga lose it's suspense. (or so i find that.) There were many cliff hangers that did not really mean a thing in the next chapter (after the cliff hanger).

What i really liked was that they tell us parts of the past, leaving suspense, and later, show us the whole truth.
I also liked the fact that there were little crying scenes and that the main character is not always the best. In the end it was found out the Oz, was not someone who is considered 'good' but a chain, which i found very interesting.
Another thing was the past of Jack. Instead of being a Hero, he was the reason that the disaster started.

Art ratings: 4
I love the art, totally in love with the Chibi art. :3 but for some scenes, i find that i can't really make out what the author is trying to draw...

One day Kai brings him into a large forest where an old abandoned piano lies unused. When Shu tries to play the old instrument, it produces only a dull and creaky tone. Only when Kai sits down in front of it can the piano produce the beautiful, rich tone its capable of.

Really loved this show. I think that in this show, there was little words spoken. However, you could understand the character's feelings just from their expressions and actions. In shows like this, with little words, there are always deep meanings to each and every actions.

I really liked how they show that Kai was able to bring out a piano's true melody even though he never did went to piano classes, by him, and only him, being able to playing the piano in the forest. I think it really shows his feelings towards music, or strictly speaking, piano.

I think this show really gave me a meaningful moral to take. I liked how not everything goes well for the main character. I know how some manga or anime loves to make everything go well for the main character, no matter how difficult the situation he or she is in. For this movie, Kai, did not win the piano competition in the end, though i was kind of expecting he would. I think this movie really shows how you cannot fully accomplish or bring out your true talent, if you are not enjoying ourself. In one way or another, hard work does bring you to greater heights, but if you are not enjoying yourself, you are never able to reach the highest level.

There are some really touching moments in this show. (forgot, but i remember crying >_>)
Even though the characters in the show are young and may not understand much about the world, but they are able to do things that adults cannot.

Art ratings: 4.5
for some reason, i really liked the art. I cannot really express it, but the flow of the whole show was really good.

This show is generally very nice. However the last episode really killed the whole show. If the ending was not so bad, I would have given it a 4 or even a 4.5.
When i watched the last episode, it made me think that watching this show was a waste of my time. I think that due to the little episode they have, they are not really able to fully explain and answer all the problems.
I think, instead of abruptly ending this show, they should have made a season two. There were many questions of Mefisto (the principle of the school) and his brother, Amaimon. Even untill the end, it did not clear my doubts on them and they never shows their true identity.

What i really liked about this show is that not all the focus is on the main character. There are episode were they show more of Rin's classmates, their feelings and character. I also really liked how they showed that in the end, Yukio was not all that perfect a brother.
What i find that was truly a disappointment was that in the first few episodes, there was little or no action. They also showed very little on the combat lessons they attended.

I read the manga after I watched the anime, and to be honest, I really prefer the manga more. I think that there was a more proper development and story line in the whole manga, as compared the anime; because in the anime, it's like they take the main idea from the manga, and change it. But they change it in such a way that it can fit into one episode, which also means that it didn't really contribute to the main story line of the anime.
I didn't really like their reaction to the whole 'Rin is Satan's son' thing. Because in the manga, they were really making a huge fuss out of it, which is the most normal reaction. But in the anime, the students didn't even think twice about it, only Konekomaru was in that whole 'I can't accept that, and I'm afraid of him' Situation.

Also about Takahara. In the manga he actually plays quite a mysterious character in the story, but is also significant in that arc, because he is someone that is kind of like Shura. So I was kind of thinking that if they didn't really need him, than they shouldn't have even added him in the first place.

Art ratings: 4
Generally very nice, however for some fighting scenes, Rin looks werid. Really liked how they did not make the characters look so stiff. (bouncy hair :D)

I would say that this show did not leave as much impact or impression as it did in the first season. This show had many questions that I had not found an answer to. Also, at first, they keep making it seem like Falcon lost to Hornet, and Hornet was truely a prodigy hacker. However, after they uncover his identity, they made it seemed like he was really a novice hacker, that forget to erase his tacks, etc.
There are also some characters that I deem useless in this show (No offence). Like the terrorist woman that was onboard the areoplane in the fist episode. She only showed up for one second before she died, I think making a character like that is useless.
Even though there are bad points about this season, there are also some good points in this saeson then the last. For example the hacking part. They really showed more about the hacking part this time round, and when they hack they really did show more of the screen.
It maybe because the whole season was much shorter, I think that even before we get to know more about the characters, the show ended. Like there are some character which are important, i find that have little screen time to show their true self. For the terrorist, the ladybird and Houtaro. Then also, Fujimaru's colleage, Hibiki.
Plus there as little link to the last Seaosn. In season one, it shows at the last part that the dude with a butterfly tattoo was still alive. And for this season, the terrorist, Ladybird she did have a huge dragon tattoo, but it seems like they had no connections at all. I really think that since you put a similarity between the both of them, you may as well make a connection.

This is one of the few Japanese drama that I watched. (Well for some reasons I did not really like Japanese dramas) I really like this drama because it did not have the usual exaggerations that normal Japanese drama has. I really liked how they replaced the hacking part with birds. It really shows the progress of the hacking. However i think that they should show more of the screen and what he was typing, it's because they lack that part that the whole hacking part gets boring sometimes. What I did not really liked about this show was that the whole show was filled with unexpected incidents. And because they had so many unexpected incidents, it became the expected. I think they should have equal amount of both to make the show more interesting. I also think that in this drama, there are many terms used that we, viewers, would not understand. I really think that they should explain, because it sometimes leaves the viewers lost. The people who were doing the explanation was the fansubs, which i thought really helped.

Overall Comments:
I think it's very suitable for those 13 and above. If you let them watch when they are younger, you would never know if the would start learning to hack >_>. There are also violence and bloody scenes.

I think this show has really deep meaning to the words each character speaks. It has a very unique anime. Not an anime you see very often.
Love what they did with the chat room.
I feel that even though all the characters in the show have very different personalities, there doesn't seem to be clash in any of the personality. Not one of the characters were forgotten.
The twist in this anime was just unexpected and awesome.
Loved all the voice actors. I also just love how they use coincidence to link the characters together, even though they started out as viewing the character's point of view differently.

What I did not really like about this anime was that, they gave too little, if not no clues at all as to who's who. When they want to tell the people about the true identity of the characters in the show, they should show some clues, a bit by a bit. However, for this anime, it seems like they just suddenly revealed their identity, and you would feel shocked and lost at the same time. For me, there was a huge question mark every time they did that.

For me, the one thing that I could not really grasp on was "Who was the main character?". To me it seemed like Ryuugamine Mikado was the main character, but after you think for awhile, the whole time they were talking about Celity and her head, which, in the end she decided to forget about it. I think this anime was more unexpected as compared to Detective Conan. Like how Ryuugamine Mikado was the creater of Dollars, etc. (sorry for spoilers). I think what really got me to like this show was perhaps the unique personality and past each character has.

Overall I certainly had difficulties understanding some parts, and piecing the pieces together.

Well, to me, this anime did not really have an ending or a beginning. However, this anime just attracts you and make you want to keep watching on.
I suggest watching this anime twice.

Art ratings: 3.5

I actually quite like the art, but for some characters, I find that they could have drawn better. Like the girl's eyes and hair were a bit weird to me.
I think that this simple drawing really brings out the complex storyline.

Summary
Gin and Vodka, on a hunt for Shiho Miyano, sneak into Akemi Miyano's flat and listen to the messages on the answering machine. They discover that Shiho will attend a private viewing of two new skyscrapers in Tokyo with Kudo Shinichi. Gin and Vodka plan to end Shiho at the towers, together with destroying a possible data that had their information in it. Later, Yoshiaki Hara was murdered in the towel, when he was staying overnight there. Then, Ohki Iwamatsu was killed in his apartment. And later, Tokiwa Mio was murdered during the opening ceremony. Sake cups were left behind at each murder scene, making the police think that it was a serial murder. Conan then confronts the serial murderer, Kiseragi, an elderly painter, when the building was one fire. Kiseragi blamed the tower employees for the construction of the tower, an edifice that obstructed his view of the Fuji Mountains. With the bridges blown off and the bottom floors in flames, Conan powers a Ford Mustang convertible with the force of an explosion to propel the kids and him to safety. Viewing the inferno from afar, Gin and Vodka confirm that Shiho Miyano was not at the towers and abandon their search for her.

Even though i think that this movie was quite a connection in the front and the back, I really did not see the importance of the role of the black organization in this movie. They played a very unimportant role. One thing that really bugs me at the end of the show is that the black organization actually left behind clues of their presence after killing Ohki Iwamatsu. They should also gave hints that he was from the black organization, and not only tell us at the end. If they could adjust these I think the movie would be much better. For this show, it was more about the Shounen tantei dan (Boys detective group).

I really like all the action in the burning building. I like how they made use of the car and the explosive to escape the building, and also how they made use of Ayumi's counting skills to get a better timing of the explosive.

This movie was about the same standard as the last movie. I think this is more suited to be in the series than a stand alone movie; mainly because it has something to do with Shinichi and his past with Ran.
For this movie, however, i could not figure out why is it called captured in her eyes. I think no one could have been 100% sure who was the murderer, really unexpected. Not only because they did not show much about him, that diverted our suspicion to someone else, but was also because of the type of character that was portrayed throughout the show.

Again i really hoped to see Conan back into being Kudo Shinichi, but it did not happen :( But i think it was this movie that we got to see more of Ran's mother, how much she actually cared about Ran. You can actually see that the both of them, Kogoro and Eri (Ran's parents), are close and actually does not seemed like they sort of 'broke up'.

I think it's also because they showcase the strong relations and feelings between the characters that it should be in the series and not a movie; yet it is also something very different from the series, because Ran loses her memory (kind of reminds me of the time where Shinichi supposedly lost his memories in the series)

Summary

Kaitou Kid sends a riddle, warning of another heist. The police deduce that his next target is a recently discovered Fabergé egg belonging to Nicholas II of Russia, which is to be displayed in the Suzuki Modern Art Museum in Osaka on August 22. The night of the heist, Kid successfully steals the egg and flies off with it, and Conan tenaciously chases after him with Heiji. However, in the middle of the chase, Kid is shot in the right eye by an unknown assailant and apparently falls into the sea to his death. After recovering the egg, the police fruitlessly search for Kid's body. The next day, Conan, Ran, and Kogoro board a boat to Tokyo. They meet Natsumi Kousaka, whose great-grandfather worked in Fabergé's factory. She shows them a part of a sketch of two eggs and a key, which were found among her late grandmother's momentos. That night, Ryu Sagawa, a freelance photographer covering the press with news of the egg, is murdered, shot in the right eye in the same fashion as Kid. Conan later conclude that the culprit is Scorpion - a mysterious killer who always shoots his victims in the right eye.
They then head towards Yokosuka Castle, the location of Scorpion's next target: the second egg. While exploring the castle, the group stumbles across secret passages beneath the castle. As they traverse the tunnel, Inui, an art dealer, sees a shadowy figure in one direction of the tunnels, and in his pursuit, he is shot by a silenced handgun. Delving farther into the tunnel, they find a coffin with a corpse clutching the second egg. Suddenly, the two eggs are snatched away. Conan deduces that Scorpion is Seiran the historian. She shoots her victims in the right eye to avenge her ancestor, Rasputin, whose body was found with an eye missing. In the end, Conan is about to confess to Ran that he's Shinichi, but then Kid comes, disguised as Shinichi, and distracts Ran, as a 'thank you' for healing one of his pigeons.

I really thought that this movie would be more on Kaitou Kid, which i look forward to seeing. However, in the show, he only appeared in the first and last part. In the middle he was disguised as Shiratori, and did not have many action scenes.

Also, for this movie, there was not a strong connection between the front and the back. As compared to the last two movies, this movie seems like it could be split into many episodes and fit into the series, not something i like seeing when it is a movie. Where else for the previous two movies, they all do not seem to be able to be fitted in the series, due to the strong connections in the start and the end of the movie. It was made impossible to be split-ed into parts and showed in the series. So for me this movie was quite a disappointment, especially since the first two movies where very nice.

Never the less, I still like this movie because of Kaito kid. I'm not sure why, but I think episodes with Kaito Kid in it just so happen to be nice.

I was also quite surprised with the mystery of the egg in the show, the twists in the show was also quite nice and unexpected.

Conan, soon deduce that the people whom Kogoro knew are being attacked in an order of poker cards. King being the first, down. During their fight to protect these people from being killed, Ran was taken hostage. Conan then shot at Ran's leg, scrapping it, in order to help save Ran. Ran then later understood the reason why her father had shot her mother. The movie ends with a happy ending.

Really could not have guessed that they used poker cards to link to this murder case.
No one would have known who was the culprit unless you watched until the end. Again, i really love how they linked the incident 10 years ago (Ran's mother got shot by father) to the last part where Conan (Kudo Shinichi), also shot Ran to save her.
Not as much humor was the last movie (there is hardly any), but really filled with much tension till the end.

One thing that i did not really liked in this movie was that when the murders started, it started to get more and more confusing as everything was going at a very high-paced speed. At that point of time i was really confused by everything; as it was hard to take in everything. But than it was necessary to understand everything before you can see how everything is connected. Wished they could slow down at that part and cut of some of the irrelevant parts.

Summary:
While sorting mail at Dr. Agasa's house, Conan finds an invitation addressed to Shinichi from Leo Joel, a famous architect. Shinichi calls Ran using his voice-changing bow tie and asks her to go in his place. Ran agrees, on the condition that Shinichi goes to a movie with her on Saturday.
On Saturday morning, Conan receives a call from a strange man, who challenges Shinichi to a game. Conan accepts the challenge, and the mystery caller gives him clues leading to bombs hidden all over Tokyo. Conan finds and destroys every one. Because the bombs were located near structures Joel designed, Conan deduces that the bomber is Joel, who planned to destroy his 'inferior' works and create a perfect new building. Upon his arrest, Joel reveals the location for his final bomb: Beika City Building, the location of Shinichi and Ran's date.
The bombs explode and seal the entrances and exits, trapping Ran and others inside. Conan makes his way through the collapsing building, but is blocked from Ran by a warped door. Using his tie and cell phone, he calls Ran and asks her to look for the bomb. Ran finds it in a large shopping bag. To disarm the bomb, Shinichi tells Ran which wires to cut. However, Joel made two extra wires, one red, one blue. One of them is booby-trapped, but Shinichi has no idea which one it is. Shinichi tells Ran to cut either one. As the rescue team arrives and carries him away, Shinichi realizes that Joel knew that Rachel's favorite color was red and booby-trapped the red one. In the last few minutes, Ran makes a desperate decision and cuts the blue wire because the red wire represents the red string of fate between Shinichi and her.

Totally fell in love with this movie. Really very nice. It consist of both humor and action, at the right parts.

I think that this movie really portray's each character's feelings.  I really like how an event in the front actually has a connection to the event at the back. Really love the connection about the color red. No words can really express how awesome this movie is.
I also liked how they added a little classical feel to it, by making use of paintings.
