Personal ratings: 3
This movie was about the same standard as the last movie. I think this is more suited to be in the series than a stand alone movie; mainly because it has something to do with Shinichi and his past with Ran.
For this movie, however, i could not figure out why is it called captured in her eyes. I think no one could have been 100% sure who was the murderer, really unexpected. Not only because they did not show much about him, that diverted our suspicion to someone else, but was also because of the type of character that was portrayed throughout the show.

Again i really hoped to see Conan back into being Kudo Shinichi, but it did not happen :( But i think it was this movie that we got to see more of Ran's mother, how much she actually cared about Ran. You can actually see that the both of them, Kogoro and Eri (Ran's parents), are close and actually does not seemed like they sort of 'broke up'.

I think it's also because they showcase the strong relations and feelings between the characters that it should be in the series and not a movie; yet it is also something very different from the series, because Ran loses her memory (kind of reminds me of the time where Shinichi supposedly lost his memories in the series)
