The plot begins when Moritaka Mashiro, a junior high student, forgets his notebook in class. Takagi incites Mashiro to meet with Miho Azuki, Mashiro's crush, and tells her the two plan to become manga artists. In response, Azuki reveals her plans to be a voice actress. Mashiro proposes to her that they should both marry when Azuki becomes a voice actress for the anime adaptation of their manga. The two then start creating their manga, under the pen name Muto Ashirogi, in hopes of getting serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jack.

Personal Ratings: 4
I had waited for this anime for a long time.
This show always seem to know when to end their episodes and seasons. It really makes the viewer have a lot of excitement for the next episode (or season).

What's good about this anime is that even though the episodes usually end off with a cliff hanger, they never failed to satisfy our curiosity in the next episode. In other words they don't leave us feeling that it was stupid for us to wait for the next episode, something that a lot of anime has when they force out a cliff hanger.
The pace for this anime was just nice, not to fast, not to slow, perfect.
Needless to say, the story line is still as awesome. I really liked the fact that they don't give the main characters any special exception.  It's not like those typical shows were the main character is always special, etc, etc. (really hate those). Instead, in this anime, the main characters encounters many challenges and problems, and they overcome all these in the same way any normal manga-ka would, though the only exception was their strong determination.

I didn't really like the last season. The first two season seem to have the same type of content. However, for the 3rd season, they seem to have taken a change.
In the first 2 seasons, there were more focus on the main characters, with little cliplets on the other characters. Which what made the anime nice, because even though the whole story is about Mashiro and Takagi, there were still breaks in between. But for the 3rd season, in the Nanamine arc, they only focused on Nanamine, and Mashiro and Takagi just seemed like supporting characters in that arc.

This anime has really given me a lot of knowledge on manga. Taught me about the different genres of mangas, the tatics, and the drawings. Really had a lot of fun knowing more about mangas.

Art Ratings: 2
The art is odd. The eyes are sometimes drawn too small, the hair have all to much highlights and the character's body can sometimes look out off shape (especially for girls)
i could really tell the difference when they animate it and when i was reading the manga. When i was watching the anime, i really could feel all the tension and the excitement
