Summary:
In the sequel, Hei and Yin are now on the run after betraying the Syndicate in the previous season. After leaving Japan, Hei encounters Suou Pavlichenko, a 13-year-old Eurasian girl who becomes embroiled in the war and politics of the various factions and Contractors vying for power. Meanwhile, Hell's Gate remains standing in Tokyo, after Hei's efforts to stop the Saturn Ring anti-Gate particle weapon from activating. Although Contractors are safe from the danger of having their existences erased, this does not prevent new and old Contractors from abusing their powers. As Misaki Kirihara and her team in the Public Security Bureau deal with the increasing Contractor cases, she also has to keep the Syndicate at bay, who has major positions in the Japanese police and intelligence bureaus around the world. The storyline setting primarily takes place in both Japan and Russia.

Personal Ratings: 3
This season has a lot more action and less talking as compared to season one.
Though I would say i like the fact that they put in July and the new character, Suou, in. I feel that they show way too much of Suou as compared to Hei. I really feel that this whole series should focus more on Hei because the real purpose of this season is to stop Yin, or Izanagi (or was it Izanami?). I felt that they dwell way too much on Suou and very little on Hei. They also did not really tell us how did Hei lost his contractors power, its was like one second you see him using his powers, and in another it's gone. Really kind of felt that it was a dumb thing to make him lose his powers. I also felt that the relationship between Suou and Hei was a little weird. From the way they portrayed it, it really seemed like Suou liked Hei, which is just weird. Also, since the last episode of season one till now, Kirihara kept saying that she wants to meet Hei (or Lee-kun, or so she calls him), but in the end when they were so close to meeting each other, they did not. And in the end, they did not even meet!
I actually totally loved the idea about the change of character in Hei. I thought it was super sad when Mao actually pointed out how Hei was like when he was younger, and i actually felt happy when Hei stopped drinking and starting eating like he used to.
An abrupt and stupid ending with no conclusion.
