Personal Ratings: 3
Had always wanted to watch this anime, but was kind of bothered by the fact that the picture looks very old. (I'm very fond of watching old animes), but totally went and watched it when i heard it has action in it.
In the first few episodes of this anime, they kept on using some one else's one of view in the start of the anime and show very little of the main character (Hei). It kind of made me a little lost about Hei's mission, and then before you know it, he accomplishes his mission. Since i started watching this anime for all the actions, I was kind of disappointed that they had a lot more talking and way too little action. Found that some characters talk way too much where else other characters which i thought should talk a little more talk way too little. I actually felt really lost in the first few episodes (maybe a little longer) about contractors and dolls. Really felt super lost as to what dolls are, they only clearly explained how contractors come about in season two. In the first season, they totally did not mention anything about how contractors came about, which made me think that they really did signed a contract with some one who supply them with power. (the first episode totally made me think of that, was a super misleading episode about dolls and contractors.)
The thing that i really liked about this anime was the fact that the main character uses a very unique weapon, i also really liked the fact that he did not over rely on his power, and uses more of combat.
